CPGA Golf Instruction

Director of Golf

Originally from England, Simon found his passion for golf at an early age. He started caddying at his local club, Delamere Forest Golf Club, before becoming a junior member.

Before his move to Kimberley, BC, Simon was the Head Professional at The Fairmont Banff Springs and Stewart Creek Golf Courses in Canmore, Alberta. Having played golf all over the world at some of the best facilities, Simon has a wealth of practical knowledge and translatable skill.

Teaching and club fitting are Simon’s specialties. He has an uncanny ability to help any player find an infectious enjoyment for the game and, notably, lower scores. He has worked with many of the worlds Top 50 Coaches and is a Level 3 Certified TPI Coach.

“I have a long-standing passion for the game. I love being able to pass on some knowledge and see our visitors and members find success in their game. Also, seeing our junior players take the skills they’ve learned to the next level and achieve some amazing things is very rewarding.”
