We had 60 players out for the Kimberley Open Men’s division on Sunday.  Temperatures were around 35C and Tim had the course in great condition for the event. Simon and Joanna and teams ensured things ran smoothly and everyone was fed – thanks to all the Purcell team in making this KGC event a real success.

As if 18 holes in the heat were not enough, brothers Dave and Jeff Langin tied for overall first place with one-under 70 scores. After a five hole playoff, Dave finally took the crown and was presented our Wood Valence trophy.

In the overal net division, Randy Lucas was low with a net 68 followed by Chuck Sinclair and Ted Giesbrecht at 69.
